This bearista bear was released in autumn of 2009 just before the holiday season. She wears a red cap with white trim and and a pointsetta with a green leaf; red plaid jacket with white fur trim, embroidered gold-colored buttons with red thread; black belt with a gold buckle; and a red ruffled skirt. On her left ear, she sports an ear tag featuring her picture, as well as a cloth Starbucks Coffee 2009 tag on his left foot paw. Thanks to Pepper for the pic!

This bearista bear was released in autumn of 2009 just before the holiday season. He wears a Santa costume: red cap with white trim and pom-pom with his ears sticking out; red Santa jacket with white fur trim, embroidered gold-colored buttons with red thread; black belt with a gold buckle; and red plaid pants. On this left ear, he sports an ear tag featuring his picture, as well as a cloth Starbucks Coffee 2009 tag on his left foot paw. Thanks to Pepper and Ophelia for the photos!

Site Updates

Hi All! Thanks to everyone who sent in photos during the summer. Life has been nuts, but we have finally had a chance to do a big site update with all of the materials that came in. So, enjoy the new pics of Local Destination bearistas from 2008 and 2009, and the new International Destination Bearistas in 2009. And, we haven't seen the last of the numbered edition bearistas... they're still coming, and in the US too. More pics to come soon.

Spider Bearista (2009)

84th Edition in the Bearista Bear Series

This spider-costumed bearista was released before Halloween in Asia. He is pale-furred but clad in a black plush costume. It has additional black legs protruding from the back as well as orange trim around the head and legs. There is embroidery of a white web with an orange spider on his chest. He has an ear tag with his picture on it, and an orange foot tag that says Starbucks Coffee Company 2009. Thanks to Sheril and Pepper for the photos.

This bearista was released in Spring of 2009 in Ireland. He wears a brown cap on his head with his ears sticking through. His left ear has a hang tag that says "Destination Series Bearista", features a picture of a generic bearista (blank T-shirt) holding a "2009" sign, and reading "Ireland" in green. He is wearing a white T-shirt with "Ireland Starbucks Coffee" printed on it. His shirt does not have any other motif printed on it, but does have brown trim around the neck and arms. He also wears denim pants with contrast stitching. He has a tan messenger bag slung over his head and shoulder. On his left foot paw he has a cloth label "Starbucks Coffee Company 2009".
