This Bearista was released in 2002 and sold only at the Pike Place Market store. He is wearing an old-fashioned apron in brown, with lettering embroidered on the front with the established date and Starbucks Coffee Company on the front. There is no logo on the apron. "Pike Place Market" appears on the apron string around his neck. He sports an ear tag attached to his left ear and a metal tag attached to his left foot paw. Thanks to Jason for the photo.
This pair of bearistas was released in summer 2002 in San Diego, Dallas and Houston. Later that year, in time for summer down under, they were released in Australia. These bearistas were also released in magnet versions.
Beach Boy Bearista
The boy bearista is wearing a sun hat with his ears poking through and has a hang tag attached to his left ear. He also has a tank top on above his swimming trunks with the yellow waist tie. Beach Girl Bearista
This beach girl bearista was the first official release of a female bear -- complete with the flirty eyelashes. She sports a white sun hat with a felt flower, a blue bikini with a "B" logo, and a beach wrap skirt. She also has a beach bag over her shoulder ad carries sunglasss. 23rd Edition in the Bearista Bear Series
Snow Globe Bearista was the Christmas release in 2002. He is wearing polarfleece to stay warm -- a red hat with white snowflakes, with green trim around the forehead and a green tie around the top. His ears poke out of the hat through which seems like it would be a bit chilly! He wears matching red and white mittens with green trim and a red and white scarf. He carries a snow globe in his paws (here protected in a plastic box). The snow globe has a slot for your own picture; the temporary placeholder says "Place your photo here." The snow globe includes red and silver candy canes along with the snow. He has a metal paw tag on his left foot that says "2002".
This bear was also available in an over-sized version with no mittens and no globe. He also came in a magnet and a mini version.

22nd Edition in the Bearista Bear Series
Released for Halloween in 2002, he wears a black chenille cat suit with holes for his ears. The paws on the suit have glow-in-the-dark claws sewn on them. He has the word "MEOW" embroidered on his chest. He carries an orange pumpkin with a jack-o-lantern face attached to his right paw. His left foot has a metal paw tag with the year 2002. 21st Edition in the Bearista Bear Series
Collegiate Bearista was released in the autumn of 2002 in the back-to-school season. He is wearing a red knit sweater with the letter "B" appliqued on the chest. He has pale tan corduroys with plaid cuffs. On his head he's got a matching brown-and-red plaid baseball cap. He wears a dark brown vinyl backpack filled with school supplies - lined paper and pencils. He has a metal 2002 button attached to his left paw.
19th Edition in the Bearista Bear Series
Released in Spring 2002, Raincoat Bearista wears an orange shirt under a yellow vinyl raincoat with lighter yellow lining and two yellow buckles. He also wears a yellow raincap with slots for the ears to poke through, and orange-yellow vinyl rain booties, with a metal 2002 tag on the left sole. He carries orange felt flowers.

Released before July 4th in 2002, this bearista is dressed a little like Uncle Sam. He wears a flag-themed outfit -- white shirt with navy blue vest with white stars, and white and red striped pants -- with a red bowtie. Over that, he wears a blue jacket, and on his head, a puffy blue top hat with red trim. He has a metal foot tag on his left paw and a flag embroidered on his right paw. Released for Valentine's Day in 2002, this Bearista wears a black tuxedo with a white shirt and a red bow tie, along with a top hat trimmed in red ribbon.
