Gingerbread Girl Bearista (2008)

 

79th Edition in the Bearista Bear Series

This Gingerbread Girl Bearista was released in Asia before Christmas in 2008. She is wearing a brown "gingerbread cookie" suit with her ears and hand paws sticking out. She has an orange bow on her head and around her neck, as well as three gold "buttons" down the chest. The suit is trimmed in white to simulate gingerbread cookie icing. He has a hang tag on his left ear and a cloth foot tag on her left foot paw. Thanks to Jason for the photo.

78th Edition in the Bearista Bear Series

This Gingerbread Boy Bearista was released in Asia before Christmas in 2008. He is wearing a brown "gingerbread cookie" suit with this ears and hand paws sticking out. The 2008 Macau Bearista is wearing a dark baseball cap with green stitching; the cap has holes for his ears to stick through, and there is a hang tag attached to his left ear featuring "Destination Series Bearista Macau" and his picture. Over his white turtle neck, he is wearing a green knit jacket trimmed in a darker green edging, decorated with the green Starbucks logo, and embroidered with the year "2008". The 2008 New Zealand Bearista is wearing a dark baseball cap with green stitching; the cap has holes for his ears to stick through, and there is a hang tag attached to his left ear featuring "Destination Series Bearista New Zealand" and his picture. Over his white turtle neck, he is wearing a green knit jacket trimmed in a darker green edging, decorated with the green Starbucks logo, and embroidered with the year "2008". New York Bearista (2008)

Local Bearista Bear Collection, Special Edition in the Bearista Bear Collection

Released in early Summer 2008, the New York Bearista is part of the 2008 Local Bearista Collection. Like all the other bears in this edition, he wears a black baseball cap embroidered with "Starbucks" in white with no logo. His ears stick through the cap; his left ear has a hangtag attached that reads "New York Bearista".  He wears a white sweatshirt with lime green trim around the neck and bottom of the sleeves and with "New York" printed in lime green on the front. This bearista wears navy patch pocket pants.  His shoes are little slip-ons that are navy, white, light blue and brown striped with brown soles and it says "Starbucks Coffee Company 2008" on his left foot (also all in brown).  He carries a little gray messenger bag over his right shoulder with a velcro closure. Pumpkin Bearista (2008)

77th Edition in the Bearista Bear Series

Released before Halloween in 2008, this Bearista is dressed in an orange pumpkin constume made of knit fabric. On his head he has a brown stem and a green leaf. The body of the costume has sewn on decals of eyes, nose and mouth of a jack o' lantern. The left foot paw has a Starbucks Coffee Company 2008 cloth tag. In this left hand, this bearista carries a pumpkin basket ready for his trick-or-treating. The pumpkin is also embroidered with a face. Thanks to Claudia for the pics.

Released before Halloween in 2008, this Bearista is dressed in a blue owl costume. The suit is made out of blue plush and the suit is two-toned on the inside and outside of the ears, with dark eyes and red sewn-on eyes with black irises. He also has feathers on his arms. The feet of the costume have three claws. The left foot paw has a Starbucks Coffee Company 2008 cloth tag. In this left hand, this bearista carries a pumpkin basket ready for his trick-or-treating.
