Hi All! Thanks to everyone who sent in photos during the summer. Life has been nuts, but we have finally had a chance to do a big site update with all of the materials that came in. So, enjoy the new pics of Local Destination bearistas from 2008 and 2009, and the new International Destination Bearistas in 2009. And, we haven't seen the last of the numbered edition bearistas... they're still coming, and in the US too. More pics to come soon.

Spider Bearista (2009)

84th Edition in the Bearista Bear Series

This spider-costumed bearista was released before Halloween in Asia. He is pale-furred but clad in a black plush costume. It has additional black legs protruding from the back as well as orange trim around the head and legs. There is embroidery of a white web with an orange spider on his chest. He has an ear tag with his picture on it, and an orange foot tag that says Starbucks Coffee Company 2009. Thanks to Sheril and Pepper for the photos.

Ireland Bearista (2009)

Destination Series 2009, xth Edition, Bearista Bear Collection

This bearista was released in Spring of 2009 in Ireland. He wears a brown cap on his head with his ears sticking through. His left ear has a hang tag that says "Destination Series Bearista", features a picture of a generic bearista (blank T-shirt) holding a "2009" sign, and reading "Ireland" in green. He is wearing a white T-shirt with "Ireland Starbucks Coffee" printed on it. His shirt does not have any other motif printed on it, but does have brown trim around the neck and arms. He also wears denim pants with contrast stitching. He has a tan messenger bag slung over his head and shoulder. On his left foot paw he has a cloth label "Starbucks Coffee Company 2009". Greece Bearista (2009)

This bearista was released in Spring of 2009 in Greece. He wears a brown cap on his head with his ears sticking through. His left ear has a hang tag that says "Destination Series Bearista", features a picture of a generic bearista (blank T-shirt) holding a "2009" sign, and reading "Greece" in a green / aqua color. He is wearing a white T-shirt with "Greece Starbucks Coffee" printed on it. His shirt does not have any other motif printed on it, but does have brown trim around the neck and arms. He also wears denim pants with contrast stitching. He has a tan messenger bag slung over his head and shoulder. On his left foot paw he has a cloth label "Starbucks Coffee Company 2009". He is wearing a white T-shirt with "New Zealand Starbucks Coffee printed on it" and native bird motif and brown trim around the neck and arms. He also wears denim pants with contrast stitching. This bearista was released in Spring of 2009 only in Korea. He wears a brown cap on his head with his ears sticking through. His left ear has a hang tag that says "Destination Series Bearista", features a picture of a generic bearista (blank T-shirt) holding a "2009" sign, and reading "Korea." He is wearing a white T-shirt with "Korea Starbucks Coffee printed on it" and a traditional mask motif and red trim around the neck and arms. He also wears denim pants with contrast stitching. Washington, D.C. Bearista (2008)

Local Bearista Bear Collection, Special Edition in the Bearista Bear Collection

Released in early Summer 2008, the Washington D.C. Bearista is part of the 2008 Local Bearista Collection. Like all the other bears in this edition, he wears a black baseball cap embroidered with "Starbucks" in white with no logo. His ears stick through the cap; his left ear has a hangtag attached that reads "Washington D.C. Bearista".  He wears a white sweatshirt with lime green trim around the neck and bottom of the sleeves and with "Washington D.C." printed in lime green on the front. This bearista wears navy patch pocket pants.  His shoes are little slip-ons that are navy, white, light blue and brown striped with brown soles and it says "Starbucks Coffee Company 2008" on his left foot (also all in brown).  He carries a little gray messenger bag over his right shoulder with a velcro closure.
