Summer Beach Twins (2002)

This pair of bearistas was released in summer 2002 in San Diego, Dallas and Houston. Later that year, in time for summer down under, they were released in Australia. These bearistas were also released in magnet versions.

Beach Boy Bearista

The boy bearista is wearing a sun hat with his ears poking through and has a hang tag attached to his left ear. He also has a tank top on above his swimming trunks with the yellow waist tie. He has a towel hung around his neck and a beach ball under his left arm. His left foot paw has the metal 2002 tag on the bottom. Thanks to Madfishmatt for the photo.

Beach Girl Bearista

This beach girl bearista was the first official release of a female bear -- complete with the flirty eyelashes. She sports a white sun hat with a felt flower, a blue bikini with a "B" logo, and a beach wrap skirt. She also has a beach bag over her shoulder ad carries sunglasss. Like her twin she has the metal 2002 tag attached to her left foot paw. Thanks to Madfishmatt for the photo.
